Random configuration does not work, what can it be, how do I solve it?
the other settings work fine!
March 3, 2020 at 9:25 pm #533349How can I show only 4 main categories on the image of the site cover?
Y
Can all the prominent categories of that sector be eliminated?March 3, 2020 at 10:40 pm #533375Please share a link to the page so we can see the issue.
You can find additional instructions for translation here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/translation/overview/
PO and MO files should be placed in /wp-content/languages/plugins
You can find CSS for hiding the categories on this page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/supreme/
Altering how the GD Categories works requires editing theme files.
March 3, 2020 at 11:11 pm #533387This reply has been marked as private.March 3, 2020 at 11:16 pm #533392I see you have already removed the popular categories section.
Is there something else causing an issue on the front page?
March 4, 2020 at 12:47 am #533413Yes, I want the categories to appear below the button that displays all the other categories!
I would also like to know, if you can show all categories, since the configuration only allows to show a maximum of 10?
and finally, ideally for my project, it would be to show on the main image only 4 categories, which are different from those shown below!
Thank you so much.
March 4, 2020 at 11:57 am #533488As mentioned, a view all expand-o-matic isn’t a feature now, and it isn’t possible to pick the categories.
If you want to pick the categories why not just use HTML to make a list of links.
March 4, 2020 at 12:18 pm #533493Thanks for the idea, I will try html!
March 4, 2020 at 6:52 pm #533602Hello!
I still can’t solve the Spanish translation.
Download file from the following link:https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/search/traduccion+al+espa%C3%B1ol/
Then with Poedit I opened the only file.po, then compiled in .mo, and uploaded both files to the server
wp-content / languages
/ wp-content / plugins / geodirectory / languages
But it does not translate to Spanish!
What can be?
How do I solve it?Thank you
March 5, 2020 at 12:37 am #533643Those are the wrong folders.
Upload them to
/wp-content/languages/plugins/ …PO, …MO
March 5, 2020 at 1:18 am #533661I put the .mo and .po files in the directory you told me, but the translation still doesn’t work.

March 5, 2020 at 8:52 pm #533850We can check into it, just share WP Admin and FTP in a private reply.
It looks like the files need to be renamed es_ES

March 6, 2020 at 4:15 am #533929How can I create a navigation menu with drop-down list, so link to the GD categories?
When I select to add WP categories, I can choose drop-down menu, but the categories are only shown if I have articles!
The navigation menu allows me to do what I want but I don’t need to show it as a drop-down menu!
Please help.
March 6, 2020 at 4:51 am #533934GeoDirectory Endpoints for Category Archives won’t show unless they have listings, that is by design.
If you have added them to a menu, they will show as soon as listings are added. Add a listing with all the categories to make them show.
Use a Custom Link with # as the link to keep the dropdown inactive.
