Alex,
Not sure why you cannot log in , doesn’t make sense. Anyway here is what is up between my conversations with you and Google.
I did what you said, I have tested via Google’s advice the API Key and it pulls up a map no problem so the API key works (test given to me by Google below)
If that works then, you can go ahead and test your API key. In order to do this, you can just run a very simple request using your API key with no restrictions. Please go to your API restrictions and rid all website restrictions and API restrictions. Here is a simple request you can use, “https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/staticmap?center=Berkeley,CA&zoom=14&size=400×400&key=YOUR_API_KEY”, just insert your key in place of YOUR_API_KEY. Copy and paste this request into your URL bar (with your unrestricted API key inside), it should load a static map of Berkeley in your browser. If this works, then your key should be working fine, and you can return your website restrictions back to the API key.
The issue is still the same.
1. Database page shows the map
2. Detail page does not, it loads for a half second then disappears and the same errors are showing.
I have cleared Cache with Light Cache , is GD saving an old API key is there a way to clear it out? Seems to me there are 2 API keys in GD which is confusing the loading? Is that possible, how can that be fixed? GD or Google deal?July 31, 2019 at 7:36 pm #500619Alex or whomever ,
So I am not making any headway here, I found that the API key was loaded into Enfold Child Theme and it was the “wrong one” it was deleted and replaced and yet the maps does not load on the Detailed page , maybe for 1/2 second then disappears, the errors are the same even after changing the Referrer to what you said to change it to, where are you located?
I am wondering if you are abroad (not in the US) perhaps the site is blocking your access.. Do you want to try another ADMIN access?August 1, 2019 at 12:43 am #500659This reply has been marked as private.August 1, 2019 at 2:07 pm #500735Alex,
I am going to get you access shortly by approving your registration, this is from Google below. Also, I want to reiterate I did delete the API key which was wrong that was stored in Enfold Child’s Theme under Google Services and replaced it with the working API key.The last thing I can recommend you to do, is change the source code yourself. Perhaps you can manually replace the API key yourself.
Google Maps doesn’t offer support in that realm though, so please keep reaching out to GeoDirectory. Let them know that the proper APIs are enabled and your key (ending in “o_bY”) is correct and works, and that the key (ending in “QtY4”) isn’t yours and you want it out of your site and replaced with your keyAugust 1, 2019 at 2:23 pm #500739Alex,
The link you sent me to fix the issue with coding for Enfold I do not think will work one of GD’s folks said the following, I am not a coder and don’t want to break my site, I would not even know where to put this code?Hi Kiran
thank you, however, the script breaks the site.
I am no coder, but there seems to be an issue with the } brackets?August 1, 2019 at 3:53 pm #500754Alex,
Did you get into my site, I sent a couple posts I don’t seem them in this thread? Oh never mind, see they did go to youAugust 2, 2019 at 12:05 am #500835This reply has been marked as private.August 2, 2019 at 3:12 pm #500931This reply has been marked as private.August 2, 2019 at 7:18 pm #500961This reply has been marked as private.August 4, 2019 at 4:14 pm #501215Alex,
Thanks, when can the Developers take a look at the map load issue? Also, mentioned this before perhaps it was overlooked. Members receive an expiry notification 9 days out, Haves listings and Needs listings have a 60-day life cycle.
This is what happens, I updated one of my posts, to the current date – it did not log into the chart (date didn’t change) and post got deleted even though it was updated?
Sorry for all this, my former designer truly- I do not think he knew what he was doing, and I am finding these bugs now. Just FYI- it is James Gehring, I would suggest you do not recommend him on your designers list. He will end up blaming GD, or Enfold and doesn’t hold himself accountable at all. – not a good experience.
Anyway, what is the solution to the posting getting deleted even after it is updated? I need to maintain the 60- day expiration so data is not stale on the site.
August 4, 2019 at 4:19 pm #501218On other note that is probably important- we deselected Stripe to make this database site FREE until it populates, I am wondering if that is the cause of the “listing post” getting trashed even it if is updated?
Is there a a setting or some type of coding that needs to be done, is this the cause?
August 5, 2019 at 1:06 pm #501381Hello,

– On other note that is probably important- we deselected Stripe to make this database site FREE until it populates, I am wondering if that is the cause of the “listing post” getting trashed even it if is updated? There is an setting under GeoDirectory > Price & Payments > General > Enable expiry process? > “Select the listing status after the place listing expires.”. This will set the selected status to listing which expires. You have selected “Trash” status for expired listings. That’s why listings goes deleted.
Let us know.

Thanks for the reply, however that isn’t the answer. As stated, listings under Needs and Haves are supposed to expire in 60-days unless they are updated.
If they are updated, the renewal date (the date of the update) should log into the listing and go 60-days out from there- it doesn’t , I did tick a box (cause I had to set the site to “free”) UNDER GD, Price and Payments, General tab- I am not sure that will do the trick. As far as your answer goes, that setting that it goes to trash after 60-days would be accurate “IF” it is not updated by the subscriber.
August 5, 2019 at 3:58 pm #501422There is no setting to extend the expire date on edit.
August 5, 2019 at 4:46 pm #501440Thanks Alex,
So are you saying that it has to be manually done on each post? How does the expiration date get extended then? Backend? Programming? -
