Hi,

1. Is there a way to filter locations based on opening hours, specifically “open now”? Am i right to assume that the Advanced Search filter is needed for this?

2. If the above is possible, how do i feed that info to the plugin? I noticed only one field – “geodirectory_timing” – containing details on opening hours.

Do i feed all the opening hours into that field or is there somewhere else I am supposed to feed it to? How would geodirectory be able to identify outlets “open now” or “open today” or “open later” etc?

You will need this third party plugin to achieve that:

But searching by open or closed is not possible I think, you can contact support for that plugin at http://sfcplugins.com/contact-us/

Thanks for the reply Guust!

Does this plugin allow for bulk upload of the opening hours, for example as part of the places listing? For example, would it be able to pick it up from the aforementioned “geodirectory_timing” field?

Or would we have to key this in manually? Manually adding the data would not be feasible as we have waaaay too many outlets to list.

Hi,

Currently it’s not possible to import via CSV wit that 3rd party add-on, but we are working on our own solution and that will include both search and import capabilities.

Hi Paolo,

Awesome! Will it be part of any existing plug in or will the GeoDirectory team be releasing a standalone plug-in with these capabilities? I’m assuming it be a paid version?

Any rough idea for when we can hope to get our hands on this?

Most likely we’ll include in the core plugin. Obviously the search part will be included in the advance search add-on.

I can’t tell when we’ll be ready with it though, I’m sorry.
