Please add start and end dates to all your events.
You can do it perhaps more easily with bulk export, edit, then import.
    That should fix this issue.

When searching, the data is broken, which breaks the search.
Event dates are required for events.

    Sorry Alex, bad news.

I went through and added start and/or end dates to those events that were missing them. I then double checked to make sure all of my events have both a start date and an end date. (set as a function of “X times” or “only until” in the case of recurring events.)

Nevertheless, she (the big) persisted. Yeah, still getting the fubar.

(I was so optimistic, too! I mean, I was gonna be all “Hey man that’s something you guys really gotta fix, a missing data field in the back end shouldn’t fubar the front end like that.” but I figured V2 is beta so fixing that bug would be something for the full launch checklist. At least it was gonna fix my problem though.)

    Hello,

RE: event date search, there was a leftover V1 field in the CPT Search settings.

We have fixed this on your site and will make the change in the converter so it doesn’t happen again.

Please check and let us know if you find any remaining issues with the date search.

    Thanks for reporting

    Hello Greg,

    Admin credentials no longer working.

To apply fix on your live site:
    – Go to Admin > Events > Settings > Search
    – Delete “Search By Date” field from selected fields
    – Add “Event Dates” field from left side fields section (tick “show in main search bar” > select “range in from” > Enter field label)
    – Save
    – Go to front end > Events > Search

Let us know if you have issue.

    Kiran
