Good morning, I’ve been testing subscriptions / packages for weeks.
On my website there are two packages (FREMIUM and PREMIUM). The PREMIUM package is recurring and costs €0.01 per day.
I have a restaurant that was registered as PREMIUM on 17/02/2020 and made its payment with paypal correctly. That same day, user canceled his subscription from “My subscriptions” and also canceled automatic payments in paypal, so the subscription should only be valid until 18/02/2020.
Today is 19/02/2020 and the subscription appears as canceled (image my-subscriptions.jpg), the restaurant appears as it expired yesterday (image my-listing.jpg), but continues with the PREMIUM package.Shouldn’t it automatically change to FREMIUM?
In the configuration I have established that when a package expires it downgrade to FREMIUM (image downgrade.jpg)What am I doing wrong?

When a subscription is expired I want downgrade its package, not that listings dissapear my web.February 21, 2020 at 9:19 am #531544Hi Alfonso,
I have checked with sandbox mode by adding one listing with PREMIUM package. I completed payment and found listing published with expire date 22/02/2020.
I cancelled subscription from gateway and successfully received notification about the same at the website end. Subscription got updated at website and marked as cancelled.
When listing is running with recurring package and it has cancelled/completed subscription, it downgrades to the package after expire date.
My listing has expire date 22/02/2020 so expire check function will expire & downgrade the listing after 22/02/2020.
To test for my listing manually i set expire date to 20/02/2020 and manually run expire check function via tool from GeoDirectory > Status > Tools > Expire Check. My listing successfully downgraded to the FREMIUM package. In short, listing which has subscription cancelled/completed is only expire/downgrade after expire date.
Please try again, let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
KiranFebruary 21, 2020 at 1:28 pm #531583There are 2 things I don´t understand:
1) Why didn’t my listing then automatically downgrade to Fremium? Do I have to do every day the process that you have done from Geo Directory -> Status -> Tools?
Also, why is it now marked as “Expired” instead of “Published”?2) Your listing, which is actually like Fremium, still appears in the frontend as Featured. This field is only assigned to the Premium package (view new attached image), how is it possible that if you now have the Fremium package you still have the Featured field assigned?
In short, there is no way to understand how the plugin works, I am sorry to say so. I am a computer engineer, advanced wordpress user and it is impossible to find the logic.

Anyway, I need an answer about the Featured field.Regards.
February 25, 2020 at 12:51 pm #532143Hi Alfonso,
I have made little update to solve featured issue. Let’s wait for listing downgrade.

February 26, 2020 at 11:29 am #532359The subscription expired yesterday and today the downgrade worked. Right now the listing is Fremium and also has the Feature field correct.
I will do some more test and I will write to you to close the ticket.
Thank you.February 28, 2020 at 5:08 pm #532807A new question about downgrade process.
In my packages:
– Freemium: limit 5 images
– Premium: limit 10 imagesWhen listing downgraded continued showing 10 images. Now, it is in freemium mode and shows 10 images. Shouldn’t it limit itself to 5 images?
March 2, 2020 at 6:30 am #533022Hi Alfonso,
After downgrade to “Freemium: limit 5 images” it should show 5 images.
Please provide listing url to check what went wrong there.

That listing has Fremium package (maximum 5 images) but it shows 10.
