Page Not Found Issue

    Hi,

    I’m using the Ge Directory and I change the name of the default ‘location’ page to ‘directory’.

    And very often the page gives 404 page not found error.

    And to fix that I have to go to the GeoDirectory settings and edit the location page and saved it. Only than the page comes back.

    Why is this happening? Why is the page giving 404 error from time to time? I have witness this issue more than 3 times already.

    Pls help

    If you change slugs or permalinks of pages, you need to clear all caches and re-save your Permalinks in WP Settings.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the response. I have changed the slug and also cleared the cache. But the issues seems to be popping up now and thn.

    For eg… the last time this problem persist was a week ago. After that I have cleared the caches and saved the page settings.

    The page was working perfectly fine yesterday and even this morning. And thn suddenly some few hours ago, it throws up that 404 error again and thats why im confused.

    Anyway Ill try clearing the cache and saving the settings again.

    Hello Kor,

    It’s happening again. The listing page is showing ‘not found’ again. It’s weird because I checked this morning and it was working fine. Its also weird because I haven’t log in to the admin panel in the last three four days as I was on trip. I dont know why its showing 404 error from time to time.

    What may be the issue? How do I fix this?
