    Hi,

I’ve just taken over development of a website using the GeoDirectory plugins but this is the first time I have used it so I’m in need of assistance.

The website is showing Page Not Found but the website is showing the plugins are seriously out of date. Is it likely this is causing the page not to be found?

    Plugins data found:

Version Required Version Plugin Name Plugin Directory Plugin Status Note
    2.0.0.63 2.0.0.63+ GeoDirectory geodirectory Active
1.1.7 2.0.0.7+ GeoDirectory Custom Post Types geodir_custom_posts Update required
1.5.2 2.0.0.10+ GeoDirectory Location Manager geodir_location_manager Update required
Please update the required plugins before proceeding.

I’m guessing the plugins were bought from you previously but I can’t find an email associated with them. Can you help find them if I provide the website URL?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for your post. It looks like you’re installing GDv2 with Gdv1 addons. Also, you’ll need a valid license to use those Gd addons. Could you login or purchase a license for both GD addons?

    Hi Kor,

I would need to check but I’m thinking it should be ok for us to buy the additional addons. Do you think this will resolve the page not found issue?

    Hi studio356,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, once you’ve purchased the addons, install the GDv2 addon versions and it will fix the issue you had there. If not, let us know and we’ll be happy to take a look at it.

You should roll back to GDV1 using a backup of the site.
Once you are ready to get a license, then consider upgrading to V2.
