Hi,
My directory has 3 parent categories, named as follows: “Accessories”, “Footwear” and “Clothing”.
However, when selecting, they do not show any results.

Is it possible when opening a parent category, that all child categories appear?

Hello,

The parent category must also be selected, in addition to the subcategories.

Yes, I understand that. But since the category limit is only 1 (in my signup system), I do not want the advertiser to select more than one option. Is it possible to do something about it?

When selecting a parent category, does it open the entire child category grid?

Sorry, not without a customization.

GD’s default settings use the “ajax chained” field type for the category in the form. This sets a default category, and then you can still add as many additional categories as you like/want/need.

For your question, “When selecting a parent category, does it open the entire child category grid?” I am not sure exactly what you mean here, but, the listing won’t show if the category isn’t selected.
