    Updated GD this morning and now my site only shows the following error. Uploading a new copy has the same issue.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/general_functions.php on line 2473

    Line 2473 is
    $default_post_type = geodir_get_posttypes()[0];

    Hi,

    sorry about this problem. We just realized that line of code is not compatible with some older version of PHP. You must have one below 5.6

    Stiofan is releasing a version with a fix that will work for very old versions of PHP too.

    It will be available in the next few minutes.

    Ah, ok. My host only has 5.5 available in cPanel. Thanks for the quick fix!
