Hello,
I am working on moving my existing directory website to a geodirectory-based site. I have manually transferred all of the listings data to geodirectory from the back end of the new site. Before the site goes public, I am in the process of asking my current members to create accounts on the new site and claim their listing. But they do not have to pay for them yet because they will not expire until some date in the future (to give me time to take the new site live.
Once the geodirectory site goes, and the listings start to expire, I have set up geodirectory to generate an email to the members alerting them to the need to log in to their account and renew their listing choosing a plan. I will be offering two plans, 1) Auto-Renewal via Paypal and 2) Annual Invoice.
Under my current website (not geodirectory) I have set up automatic renewal plans with members directly using paypal. I assume that for the listings that I have added on the back end, I need to:
1) On the back end of my new geodirectory website, select the Annual Invoice plan for each existing listing (see screenshot attached).
2) cancel the existing paypal renewal agreements (which I do directly through paypal)
Is this correct, and if so, will the member be giving the option when they go back in to renew their listing of choosing either plan?
Thanks!
