Ok, read to provide access. Check out is failing. Both Stripe and paypal

    Site ACE911.com

Also, the only option is to pay with “existing paypal” or sign up for paypal and pay with paypal.

Why does the user not have a credit / debit card option with paypal please?

    Kind regards,

A one-off price package or recurring?
Recurring is not possible with PayPal without creating a PayPal account, a PayPal account needs to be set up to allow the credit card payments to be taken in the future.

I tried testing on your site but your Listing Preview page is not active, so I cannot get to the payment page.

    Thanks

Ok, Paypal Pro topic resolved. After a “screen sharing” session with Paypal. And to recap the situation, using paypal the page has a small link below pay with paypal. “it reads something to the effect” pay with debit or credit card. (one would think you “could in fact” pay with debit or credit card because that is what it reads!” But noooo It is something they are aware of.

The Paypal check out is what is referred to as the “standard” and as such there would need to be a different “cart” used to take advantage of the Paypal Pro account. Thus purchasing a Pro account would be a waste of money for the current check out process for say an event or business listing.

So, currently when people do chose paypal, and want to pay by debit or credit card they cannot. they must either pay with paypal or establish a paypal account.

I know.. why put down “pay with debit or credit card” in the first place…

    Please closed as resolved?

    Kind regards,
