    Hi there

We are finding that new listings are no longer linking to the correct path – in fact we are getting a 404 and the complete data is no longer being saved; including the title, bio and additional fields.

    Site is http://www.popupup.com

It looks like you changed permalinks settings, or did not add a proper address:
    https://www.popupup.com/?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_event&sgd_eventcategory%5B%5D=&s=giant+cheese&event_start=&event_end=&snear=&sgeo_lat=&sgeo_lon=
Try re-saving or re-publishing the listing maybe?

If all fails, post your admin details in a private reply.
    Thanks

    Hi Guust

This wasn’t the case earlier. All of the data had been put in correctly and it said the listing had been published. After that it went to a 404 page when it said ‘View your listing’. It also seems to have saved it when the title is a required field but it is not displaying.

If you want to test, add the title of what the post should be ‘The Giant Cheese Board – Unlimited Cheese, Mulled Wine and fun!’ and the actual address ‘338 Boord Street, London’ and it is still not updating correctly. Even add a description if you like.

Nothing has been altered on the site in terms of settings.

I just updated from the frontend, it was missing title, bio and street address.
I don’t quite understand yet, but maybe because the payment manager is out of date.
I’ll ask the developers if that can be reason.

Strange, I have tried updating it from the front end as well but it just doesn’t want to save… All of those fields have been filled in but it is not saving in. Will wait to hear from you.

I added two listings now without any issue, 1 from the front and 1 from the back.
I don’t see any problem really anymore.
Can you please check yourself [and update the payment manager].

    Thanks

Hi – I found out what the issue was and it happened to be content related from…

If you look at the description here – https://www.facebook.com/events/1449693431781168/ you will see that there are a load of cheese emoji’s. These appear to be conflicting with the site as soon as I removed them and changed to standard bullets, no problem! So it could be a general WordPress issue.

Thanks for your help anyway, all updated.
