Place Category Description not showing properly

    I just purchased the entire suite and have been playing around with it for the last day or so.

    There is a feature to add a detailed description to each place category and this feature has a full word press edit suite.

    I created a detailed description for a Tullamore DEW category using this edit suite.

    My site at dublinwhiskeytrail.ie is a guide to the whiskey pubs of Dublin.

    I will be allowing free place-listings but will be charging the whiskey companies for Place categories for their whiskey labels. So, Place categories for Jameson, Tullamore DEW etc.

    I created a detailed description for the Tullamore DEW place-category using the Place category editor including photos and video. See attached screen shot. However, when you look at http://dublinwhiskeytrail.ie/places/tullamore-dew-1/, only the last few lines of text uploaded appear. The photos, videos and first two thirds of text uploaded are not visible.

    Hi Stuart, if I follow the pictures correctly, that description will only show on the Tullamore Dew category page for Dublin, ie at http://dublinwhiskeytrail.ie/places/ireland/dublin-9/dublin-city/tullamore-dew-1/
    The text showing at http://dublinwhiskeytrail.ie/places/tullamore-dew-1/ is what you have entered for all other locations I think.

    Please post your WP admin details in a private message if need us to have a look for you.

    Please post admin details in your topic next time, that way any of us can assist.
    The description you added for all those category pages was a table with a fixed width of about 45 and height of 400, so the text was restrained to that space. I deleted the restrictions.

    Is there also some sort of a toggle on-off feature that is dependent on a “Dublin City” setting somewhere?

    When I looked at it after you fixed it, the profile was still only half there. But then I seem to have flicked a switch somewhere that brought everything up.

    Just had another look!

    There seems to be a difference as to what appears in the category profile description depending on what is in the location search field (Dublin City or blank).

    See the two attached screen shots.

    That is because you entered a different description for “all locations” and for Dublin only.
