I must have missed this but I cant find where to setup the Places Listings Page to indicate which Listing has Event listings live. Also will Events automatically expire after their Event Date?

Hi Carin,

Thanks for your post. Try using the option shown in the attached to filter your events. Events will be filtered by “Past” after the Event Date. You can filter it in the Widgets by “upcoming, past and etc.”

Only the package expiry process will move listings to another status automatically.

Thank you for that so if I want the package to expire the day after the event, can you give me some help to give my developer on where to start?

The easiest thing to do is make it so that past events never show up on the site.

Will that not meet your needs?

That will do fine! So it is done through widget settings only? we can’t really use Package Expiry because Events are placed at different dates before their Date of Happening.

Yes, widget and shortcode settings, all set to ‘Upcoming’, and then the same for the Events addon which control the Events Listing pages and such.

V2 Events and CPT working together enable any CPT to become an ‘Event’ type, too.

I understand about the expiry. If customization is necessary, then I would say that would be the fix, that the package date should be set automatically for the event end date (+1), and that a custom function would need to DO that after payment has been marked received for the event itself.
