    So I’ve now migrated from GT to GD. All places and categories are in place in the back-end. But they are not appearing in the front end. Have I missed something?

    I’ve disabled maintenance mode so you can see it.

    They are there, they are just not showing.
    That seems to be a problem with your theme.
    Can you post your admin details in a private reply so we can have a look for you.

    I put this code in custom CSS. Not sure if this was the right move or not.

    #geodir-wrapper {
    overflow: visible;
    }

    Listings are now visible though. is there a better way to do this?

    Any tips on bounding the geo directory listings within the theme’s content area and placing on a white background like the content on rest of theme? The Geodirectory seems to have knocked out the theme container. What’s the easiest way around this?

    Can I fo example, load listings from certain categories onto a page using the theme’s template?

    Hi,

    that was the only way to fix that, however I would strongly suggest to avoid using GD with GT as the theme. That could bring plenty of problems.

    I would use Directory Starter with a child theme and design it to look similar to your current GT design.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

    Hi. I rolled back the design and installation to GeoTheme as i didn’t like the way it was looking. I will continue experimenting with GEODIRECTORY on a test site.

    In the meantime, I now have a problem with GeoTheme on this site. All the Places are there in the back-end. But they are not displaying in the front-end. The theme files should not have changed in the restore.

    How can I reconnect what’s in the back-end to display in the front-end?

    Are all widgets still in place?
