Using Directory Starter and Supreme, when I load a GD widget, it get a message that says, “An error has occurred, please reload the page and try again.” That doesn’t seem to help.

Where do you get that? When you want to add a widget at Appearance > Widgets?
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply so we can check your settings.

Oh Interesting, actually when I add them through Appearance > Widget, it does work. When done through the ‘live view’ or even edit the widget in live view, is where that error was showing up. So that will work, thank you.
