Plugin functioning

    Hi,

    The plugin seems to work and to be a really useful tool. Unfortunately I don’t understand some functions and I cannot install it properly as I would like. That’s why I request your help.

    – First, I would like to know if to make the plugin work the homepage have to be GD home ?
    – And I don’t find the “places” page. I can access to it via my.url/places but that’s it.
    – Do I really need the pages listing, add listing etc

    Here is what I want to do with this plugin :
    I have a travelblog and want to create a directory to indicated the best places I have been. I want to display the directory main page in an other page than the “home” on my website. (is it possible?)

    Then, the map is not displaying although I added my API key. What could be the prb?

    Hi there,

    Let me try to explain this to you accordingly.

    1. It is not compulsory to have the GD home page in order for the plugin to work. But it’s required if you’re using our themes.

    2. Yes, that’s correct, you can hyperlink your navigation menu to point to it

    3. Yes, just create an empty page and link it accordingly in GD > Permalinks > Geodirectory Pages
