Hello

I purchased the geobold theme along with everything else you offer and I was wondering where I enter the product license? I have looked in the plugin where the other licenses are entered and also in the “theme” area.

Hi Tom,

The child themes don’t have auto updates so there is no place for that, you must update manually or if you are sure you have not made any changes you can use this plugin to update via zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/

Hey Stiofan

Thank you for the info. I appreciate the quick response. Is there any way I can edit the footer section of the theme? I am specifically looking to remove ” WordPress Directory Theme by GeoDirectory” and add my my disclaimer in that area. I have tried to edit this area in the genesis theme but haven’t had any luck.

To modify the footer credits, you will need to open the file functions.php of the child theme and modify the function that creates them:
```
//* Add My Custom Footer Links
add_filter('genesis_footer_creds_text', 'custom_footer_creds_text');
function custom_footer_creds_text($creds) {
 $creds = '[footer_copyright] ' . get_bloginfo('name') . ' &bull; <a href="https://wpgeodirectory.com/">WordPress Directory Theme</a> by <a href="https://wpgeodirectory.com/">GeoDirectory</a>';
 return  $creds;
}
