    any explanation for this:
    Our popular category widget stays on 0; while in our staging environment it shows all relevant figures…

    Maybe something with https?…

    Both running the same versions of everything?
    Did one ever have dummy data installed and the other one did not?

    the one that shows zeroes is live is 138;
    the other is staging: 139

    staging is a copy of live of some days ago; so the content is basically the same, i guess…

    So why are you not updating the live one to 1.3.9 and then apply the fix in the link I posted?

    By the way: if we auto-update the plugins via the CMS, should we then also first de-activate all wp-related plugins before updating the core, or could we also use the Update-all-at-once-function (don’t know exactly how its named in english, i hope you get what i mean?

    Hi,

    this is what I do.

    1st I auto-update GD core by itself, than I update all addons all together.

    There is absolutely no need to deactivate anything before updating.
