I have just updated my client site from core 1.6.6 to 1.6.23 and updated all the related addons as well. This is only on the dev version but of course need to get it right before moving across.
My main concern is that the client wants the ability to have 3 renewal emails sent to clients – one a month before expiry, one 15 days before expiry, and one a few days before expiry.
Now that I have upgraded, I can’t even locate the option in Prices and Payments > General to enter in ANY kind of timeframe. Seems to have just disappeared – even though the checkbox to enable the facility is still there. There are also only 3 tabs in this section where there used to be several more.
I have installed the INVOICING plugin as suggested (not yet wholly setup) and presume it is somehow related to this – however this is my client’s major concern at the moment, the whole 3 renewal thing.
Should I go back to an older version of the Pricing module (and if so, where would I get the most up-to-date prior to Invoicing plugin requirement?), will that still play well when everything else IS upgraded to the absolute most recent – AND did that version have the capability to set more then 1 renewal in any case? I seem to remember locating something about that capability when browsing through the support forum previously, but cannot locate the same post now in-spite of looking for a while.
Please assist asap 🙂
