    Hello, I emailed support several days ago with my inquiry but did not receive any response. I’m hoping that someone here can answer.

    I am thinking purchasing the claim this add-on but I need clarification on something.

    Currently, admin is the only profile that I want to allow to create listings. If an owner claims a business and responds to a review will they get the “Post Author” badge? And if so, can it be changed to “Business Owner” or something similar? I would also like the review replies to only be allowed from the business owner, is this possible?

    sorry I’ve searched for you email, but I can’t find it…

    All this is possible expect the last point. Only Whoop behaves like that where only the business owner can reply to reviews (to look like Yelp). With any other theme, there is no such option.

    Claiming a listing does not change the user role, GD works with default subscriber roles or any other roles.

    But not everyone can have the ability to edit listings. So when a business claims a listing, what changes for them to be able to access that ability? If a business claims a business are they “subscribers” like the other members?

    I just watched the video on this plugin. I think I am mistaken. If a business listing is claimed, the owner can only add photos or update events/coupons? They cannot actually update the listing information? Is my understanding correct?

    If a listing is claimed, the user can edit, add photos, whatever else you allow them to do.
    If the listing is an event, then they can edit the event.
