    Hi, when I am trying to add a place tthrough add listing page, when I cclick Publish it redirects me to tje homepage without any listing. How can I fix that??

    I have searched in the forum and I think that this problem may caused because of the version of openssl in my server (because a few days ago, I had problem with the update). Although I created the info.php file and I see that the server has version 1.0.2 openssl. So I don’t know what more am I suppose to do. I disable all the non GD plugins, nothing, I change theme (although avada should be compatible), nothing, I deactivate and reactivate the GD directory again nothing.

    Hi,

    it happens due to server configuration for sessions.

    After disabling use_php_sessions for $gd_session class it works fine.

    Please check server sessions configuration with your hosting provide or add the following line in wp-config.php to skip using php sessions:

    define('GEODIR_USE_PHP_SESSIONS', false);

    Unfortunately we still got problems.
    1) When I am trying to edit a listig, after the update it create a second listing item.
    2) If I add a place in the back end, it never appears in the front end.
    3) The listing page http://koutavos.eu/places, until yesterday it works fine and now I receive that the page is not found.

    What happened?

    hi,

    1) I Edited place: Παπαλεξίου Ιωάννης and nothing wrong happened

    2) This is probably due to multiple problems in your locations. Please merge all location that have region “all” with the location wit the correct region.

    3) you changed from places to petclub in gd > permalinks.

    Hallo Paulo and Konstantinos,

    The goal is to upload all locations for which I wrote a capturingsheet in Excel to prevent import/export errors. Than visitors can claim their business page and edit it. But, I am still unable to edit listings via: /directory/add-listing/?pid=9492

    I followd selutions offerd in this string (reply: #160329). So I contacted my hosting profider and walked through the steps from server to wp-config adding define(‘GEODIR_USE_PHP_SESSIONS’, false); above the debug line (false).

    Can eighter of you help to find out, What did I mis?

    In the folowing private post I’ll login details to see what’s going on.
