    Hi,

When we try to upload a JPG or a JPEG file on our GD V1 install we incur in an error 524 in Cloudflare as it takes more than 100 seconds to be processed when we save the listing.

This maybe happening because those files have some rule that prevents them to work normally and to be saved alongside the rest of the content (which gets saved, by the way, after we go to the admin side: pure text, no images).

Did you ever find a situation like that? Where can I go to make sure people have permission to upload those 2 kind of files?

    With PNGs there’s no problem.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

You can check the GeoDirectory image custom fields settings to make sure PNGs are allowed.

Please share WP Admin credentials so we can take a look.

The issue is with uploading a PNG, through backend or frontend both, right?

Hi Alex, the issue is when I upload jpgs and jpegs.

When I go to select images to upload them, jpg and jpeg files doens’t appear under “allowed files” and I have to select “all files” on my windows screen so they are visible and I can upload them.

After that, the “apparently” upload, and they seam ready to save the post after they “load” on to the gallery.

However when I hit SAVE the post, it takes forever until the conection times out.

Do you know what can be?

It happened from the admin area, but also from the frontend.

Something is preventing those kind of fils to be allowed by the system.

OK, I tried uploading a PNG and a JPEG, then a larger Jpeg, but I didn’t see anything odd.

I did not need to do anything to select the file type, everything worked as expected.

    What browser are you using?
Where you using the https URL?

Strange, yes I also could upload several JPGs…

I lately disabled the KRAKEN.io image optimizer plugin…
And now it is working fine.

    Could that be related?

    Yes, definitely.
