Hi,
I live in a fairly rural area – my nearest city is an hour away, so many of my listings are in towns and villages, not cities. I added a number of “Nearest Towns” and set regions, but these settings are constantly overridden when you add a listing.
I add a listing selecting the Region and “Nearest Town” (City) from the dropdown list of towns I’ve manually added, then when I add the postcode and “Set on Map” it automatically changes the “Town” to the village of the postcode, and overrides the towns I’ve manually added. Subsequently, it’s only if you search that specific village the listing comes up. So you could live 2 minutes car ride away in the next village but it wont recognise this, despite my search region being 75 miles. I am aware that it does this, but my customers wont be and are likely to find their listing wont show up to anyone except their immediate neighbours unless they go back and change the region and town settings.
Is there a way to disable the address being overridden, and forcing it to work within my location settings, please?
