profile alerts

Hi,

I’ve noticed that even though I have email alerts turned on for all types of alerts in the user profile settings I am only receiving alerts on compliments. That means no emails when someone;

– Requests friendship.
– Public messages i.e. mentions in a post or review using the “@username”.
– Follows a user.
– Sends a private message.

I have all the relevant settings turned on to allow these features but they don’t seem to be working with the exception of the compliments. Is this an issue with buddypress?

the compliments email also seems to come from an address listed as wordpress@mydomain.com. Is there anyway of changing this to a different email address?
