Question about Category names

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I am working on V2 of the site. If I have two separate CPTs but use the same name as a child category of each, how does GD deal with that?

    Example:

    Parent Category of Teams CPT : Formula 4
    Child Category of Teams CPT: British Formula 4

    Parent Category of Series CPT: Open Wheel
    Child Category of Teams CPT: Formula 4

    The other option is to use a tag in the Series CPT to further refine the listing instead of a Child Category.

    Comments? Thoughts?

    CTPs are separate and so are their categories. A -1 may be added to distinguish the slugs.

    Perfect! That is what I needed to know. I wasn’t sure of the significance of the -1 in the slug. The CPTs will also be linked so this works great. Thanks Alex!
