Question before updating regarding "Places" and categories

    Before I update from Version 1.6.38 to version GDv2:

    I had renamed “Places” and all of my categories were created under the new name, will this upgrade revert the settings back to “Places”, or cause other conflicts? I do not want any bad surprises from this upgrade.

    I need an answer for this today. How long does it usually take for “support” to be answered? For such an elaborate and time consuming upgrade there should be support standing by.

    If Places was renamed with the Custom Post Type addon, that will be carried over. In any case it is a quick changes with the CPT addon. It should not have an effect on your categories.

    Translations will need to be redone, though, as V2 has new translation strings.
