    Hi,

Recently Quick Edit option is missing when listing my Events in the backend.

Any idea how can I enable that option again?

    Thanks,

That option has been removed because it does not work for a lot of the options of GD listings. For example using the Quick Edit option would break listing tags, so it has been removed to prevent things like that.
    Thanks

    Hi Guust,

Is there any alternative solution for a “quick” publishing of events or CPT,

    Thanks,

    Juan

You still have the “Bulk Actions” that allow for easy publishing, or you can export and re-import with changing the status of the listing if you have big lots that need changing.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am trying to open this discussion again, since, apparently “bulk actions” now are disabled.
I have the need of changing the status of several events per week (in order to publish them quickly) and bulk actions and previously “quick edit” was an alternative for that purpose.

What solution do you offer instead to resolve this necessity? Every day my database gets bigger and publish an event “manually” results in a lethargic procedure.

    Thanks,

    Juan

Just to be cleared, bulk edit and quick edit never worked 100%, that’s why we disabled it.

The best and faster way is via CSV export, edit and import.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

It’s a shame. You do not know how useful those options are when it comes to publishing many events at once. On the contrary, doing one event at a time, is very tedious. Hopefully, a solution to this problem will soon emerge.

    Regards,

    J.

    Hi again Paolo,

Do you think there is an alternative for publishing my events in block, I mean maybe to enable the bulk actions only in my web site? Really I need this.

    Thanks,

    J.

Slow publishing is due to your server capacity. Adding large and many images will also slow things down.
Importing images from Facebook using the Social Importer also can be slow depending on your server.

    Thanks
