Rating stars and comments missing and google map not zooming

Hi,
I have been checking whether the functionalities on the site is working before starting actively promoting the site and a few things look ok but are actually not working.

I tried to leave a review for a place listing and it tells me I am submitting via non secure link and I click ok and the comment is never seen again. There is no option to click on a star rating in the review area while on front page the listing appear with the empty starts and says there are no ratings yet.

I used to have the multi ratings active but I have removed it in case it was messing it up, but no difference.

I also installed a comment field plug in to get users to confirm that they agreed to terms and conditions and a couple of other things, but I got no such option when I tried to leave a review.

I have checked settings in the discussions panel and settings in the design>detail>detail page tab and can’t see that I have deactivated something relating to it.

Google maps:

I set up google api successfully and, when not working on first try, I installed the google api plugin. The maps now mostly work after I removed the api from the geodirectory>design>map field and only kept it in the google api plug in. The only thing that does not work is the home page map that will not respond to location or setting location in navigation tab. Relevant listings show up underneath but the map shows all of Australia (and can be zoomed manually successfully).
