Hi,
I moved http://www.whatsgoodtodo.com to geodirectory last week and the redesign is coming along nicely. we bought a newspaper theme. We need help urgently with the following issues though:
1. look here http://whatsgoodtodo.co.uk/ then look at http://whatsgoodtodo.co.uk/directory/
i need it to have margins (same size as home page) but it’s covering the whole page and does not look good.2. i need to add the add a listing geodirectory option to this menu, so where someone visits this page http://whatsgoodtodo.co.uk/add-a-listing/ they can login/register and add a business/event listing.
3. Once logged in on the website as a normal person (not admin) go to add a listing and it won’t add one.
I think we need help setting up our settings.
Can anyone help me please? Willing to set you up temp admin access.
Thanks,

#1 Use the custom CSS code below to add some margins on the directory. Insert into GD > Design > Scripts > Custom Style CSS
#geodir-wrapper { width: 70%!important; margin: 0 auto!important; }
#2 Refer to this section of the documentation https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
#3 I’ll check with a developer for this one.

DebbieMarch 20, 2017 at 6:09 pm #368683Hi Debbie,
#1 You can simply add a custom link or you can add it via GD>Design>Navigation
#2 GD>Design>Details>Detail sidebar section on left side (UNTICK)
Thanks,

March 20, 2017 at 10:31 pm #368735Hi
These are the outstanding issues I think:
People used to fill in 3 custom fields set up on add a listing.
These have transferred across and have red crosses on in the dashboard settings.
age suitable custom field
wgtd discount provider custom field
wgtd review linkthese are there with red crosses and do not appear to need to be filled out when adding a listing, whereas they need to be.
i don’t know the page to add an event listing and i don’t think that’s working yet.
please help us get able to list events. you helped us today with regards being able to list places.i managed to add ‘add listing’ as a menu option going to the page you kindly set up. that’s the business listing. i need to be able to add events too. on geotheme you used to select a box to go between them both, but i can only see PLACE options on add listing.
this is what you kindly set up today, but it’s just for PLACE, not event i think
http://whatsgoodtodo.co.uk/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
Thanks for all your help.
