Good Day,
I am having endless issues with ReCaptcha.
I am not sure what exactly happened but I think it started after activating
Autoptimize plugin as recommended by GeoDeirectory. I have the ‘Enable Autoptimize configuration per site’ active.I have a 10 site multisite and users are unable to post listings.
Before the issue occurred I was not using GeoDirectory Captcha plugin but rather UsersWP Captcha plugin and everything worked fine for many months.
Then when the issue occurred; – I deactivated Autoptimize plugin although this did not fix the issue.
I then deactivated UsersWP Captcha and started using GeoDirectory Captcha. This worked fine for a few weeks and not the issue has reoccurred although users can log in but not post a listing.
Please help me here with best recommendations. Which Recaptcha should I use for my multisite and could Autoptimize plugin actually be the culprit here?

I recommend you try with V2 visible using the “I’m not a Roboto” checkbox, with the same key and settings for both plugins.
You can use both plugins together, just make sure the settings don’t overlap, that you haven’t used both on the same wp login form, for example.

You don’t need 2 ReCaptcha on the same page, and that isn’t supported by Google either. You should only load it once per page.
March 6, 2020 at 7:00 am #533943Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply. That makes a lot of sense although the ReCaptcha does not load on this page as the form is not present because the user is not logged in yet. ReCaptcha only loads in the bottom right-hand corner when you click the login link which creates the login modal popup which has that red-bar error; – which usually has an error message in it but not in this one (maybe a clue to your developers there).
I have disabled the ReCaptcha on the ‘Add Listing’ page. Remember this is a multisite and I’ve only disabled it for the site ID of the links posted previously.
Disabling the ReCaptcha on the ‘Add Listing’ page has not fixed the problem.
I look forward to your reply.
Kind regards,

Hope you well.
3rd party admin access to the site is not allowed unfortunately.

Provide us staging(dev) site access if you have. Without admin access we can chwck what causing issue.

March 12, 2020 at 9:56 am #534948Hi Kiran,
Unfortunately I don’t have an up to date staging site at this stage and I presume even if I did have a staging site it would still reveal several Licensed software and API keys use on the site so don’t think that would be allowed either.
I hope to create another GeoDirectory in the near future with a similar setup that won’t have the access restrictions I currently have on my site and will be able to give you access to that one.
Please keep this thread live until then.
Thanks again.
