Recently Viewed Shortcode Display Issue

I’m not sure if this is a Divi issue or a GD issue, but I’ll start here with it.

I added this shortcode to the page:
[gd_recently_viewed post_limit=”5″ layout=”gridview_onefourth” post_type=”gd_event”][gd_recently_viewed title=”Recently Viewed” post_limit=”5″ layout=”gridview_onethird” post_type=”gd_event”]

This is what I get instead:

It’s not limiting the number of posts at all, displaying funky, as well as showing all of the Divi code that runs the blocks (it seems to be coming from the archive view template).
