    Hello,
I’ve looked at several other posts and still can’t import to my listings into geodirectory.

Attached is the file I’m using, can you please examine it?

    Thank you,
    Alex Theberge

    Hi,

    1) Listings in rows 1021,1061,1274,1466,1558 have blank post_address

    2) Post_region should be the full name and not the abbreviation.

    3) Categories are missing. You should create it/them in advance. You can import them too.

Let us know if this helped.

    Thanks

    Hello,
After making the aforementioned changes I was able to import 32 of 1846 records. Attached in this post.

I am unsure what could be causing the problem. Here is a link to the site.

We are considering the purchase of additional modules if we can import these records.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

I’m totally sorry, I didn’t need wp admin to tell you why it isn’t working. You are a free user and not having the MultiLocations add-on installed, you can only import in the default location.

    Thanks

    Hello Paolo,
Are you saying I need Multilocations to import my data?
I have 4 listings in Canada, the rest are the United States; If I remove Canada will this Import work?
    I will try it.
    Thank you,
    Alex Theberge

    Nevermind.

I understand the problem now, frankly multilocation it’s a bit confusing. Perhaps it should be “expanded location” or “remove location restriction.” Or maybe lead with that in the description of what the multilocation add-on does.

So at the risk of sounding pretentious:

Tired of only having one location available to show off your listings? Then it’s time to expand your directory and go global! With the GeoDirectory MultiLocations add-on you will say goodbye to location restrictions and hello to unlimited locations for your listings. Obviously there is no need to create locations in advance, users can add new locations while adding a new listing.

Neverthelesss, I will purchase the 4 month subscription so we can utilize your plugin once I shop around to see if this is the best fit.

    Thank you,
    Alex Theberge
