Is there a way to export the current settings including the CPT’s etc to a new domain. I am not talking about moving my site from one domain to a new domain. I am talking about using all of the current settings that I have worked so hard to create to a new directory site that I am replacing with GD.
I know that I can use something like the Duplicator plugin to duplicate the site and that might work. But my question is about the database and what is best practice for maintaining a smooth functioning database…..
if I duplicate this site, of course, I will have all of the current business listings from the old site. What happens to my database if I delete these listings and then import my new listings? Will this cause issues in the future? wouldn’t it be better to start with a fresh database? or does it matter?
Just trying to build the next site not only quickly but have it functioning at peak performance. A lot of work has gone into my first GD site and I hate to have to manually recreate everything 🙂
