Hi, where can i change the settings of the length of the description excerpt on a standard search result page.

I understand where i can set the length within a shortcode or widget but this is for a search page.

Could you try adjusting the “Description word limit” and see if it helps? You may refer to this section of the documentation.

Hi Gerald,

in GeoDirectory > Design > Einträge > Zeichenbegrenzung Beschreibung

you had 500. I changed to 5 and it reduced it.

Please check.
