    Dear support team,

    Can you tell me how to reduce the shortcode of the search box? Which elements do I need to reduce in CSS for just having location and the searching button in my search box?

    Actually it looks like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/RvAY0IrfwM
    I would like to have it like this: http://www.screencast.com/t/fY7vQkXc

    Can you help me?

    Kind regards
    Gerry

    Try these CSS solutions:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#search

    If those don’t get you there, please share a link to the page and we will take a look if it can be done with CSS.

    Thank you, Alex. Looks much better now: http://www.screencast.com/t/yKnr8SIh

    Just the distance arrow and the field for the advanced search is still disturbing me. Any idea how to hide these two fiels completely? Do you want me to share the link to the page for this item?

    Thank you!

    Regards
    Gerry

    Yes, please share the page URL.

    Do you mean by ‘distance arrow’ that you want to hide the compass icon?

    Do you mean by ‘field for advanced search’ that you want to hide the grey button?

    It looks like the page is protected.

    Please send over whatever we need to be able to view the page.

    How about:

    button.showFilters {
        display: none !important;
    }
    span.near-compass.gd-search-near-input {
        display: none !important;
    }
