Member try to register via registration form as show in attachment. However, user did not receive any activation email. I use my other email and tried, same, did not receive any activation email.

Is attached login form part of GD or Buddypress? I have installed GD buddypress integration addon already.

I use WP SMTP plugin for mail. I confirm that i can receive email as admin, eg when new listing is posted, new member registered etc. But as member, no email received. Please advise

Hi Kai Liu,

Thanks for your post. You’ll need to install the “Email Log” plugin to check and see if your emails are sending out. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks Kor,

Which one do you suggest? I am currently using WP SMTP. I have tried to install POST SMPT plugin which has log feature. However, it could conflict with WP SMTP.

WP SMTP works on all my other projects tho. Even this one, admin can receive email. Just Subscriber cannot.

Hi Sam,

Thanks for your reply. Are you able to check the email logs using the mentioned plugins above? If not, you need to install this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/ then perform a user registration and see if the emails are being sent out.

Thanks kor,

I have just tried. This plugin does not catch activtion email to new user

Any suggestions?

I tried to use test email function in WP SMTP, email log plugin can catch this test email.

As mentioned before, the admin email can receive all notifications such as new user registration, new listing published etc.

This is the previous project using V1.

I am working on another one using V2. In this one, even WP SMTP generates error message, subscriber still be able to receive activation email.

Hi,

I logged in. I don’t see the email log plugin, and we can’t troubleshoot without an email log to see.

You have BP doing registration and another plugin working with emails. I recommend you check those plugins and perhaps disable them to see if you still have an issue.

I kniw why. Email log has its own user role setting. Default only open to admin. The account you use is a keymaster. Now it has been authorized.

Just found that the site is not right.

Map view page (originally front page of GD) is not working, all empty now.

Also, I was trying to upload csv, it keeps generating error. Even I try to upload csv which was successfully upload, now generating error as well.

Please advise

Just received a new user registration notification to admin. Howdver, this email is not logged in Email Log. I believe that user did not receive activation email as well. Have you found out the issue yet?
