I have a few questions (or maybe a lot of questions)
1) So I’m having a pretty major issue with registration. I’m using Restrict Content Pro so upon registration each subscription is associated with a different “user role”. After registration they are directed to the Add-Listing for Places… which works fine. However, the problem is that Geodirectory is not recognizing them as the “author” of the listing. I have to manually go in and add them to the user role “Company Owner” (which I’m not sure is a Geodirectory Default it could be something my developer added). How can I best adjust this so that users are automatically associated as authors in GD?
2) On my Company Dashboard page I’m attempting to list out each user’s listings separated by type (i.e. Places, Events, CPTS). You’ve helped me before in getting this to work with the Places post types but I can’t seem to get it to work with events.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/current-user-listings-page/Also, I’m wondering why the shortcode [gd_listings post_type=”gd_events” post_author=”current”] won’t work for this? Could it have to do with the above mentioned issue?
3) Our site will be mostly viewed on mobile so we need to utilize the “tabs” view on the listing page as opposed to “list” view. Though, I need some information such as the Video & Gallery to display under the “Profile” (which i’ve changed to “About”) tab. Is there a way to make that happen?
4) May need to open a separate topic for this under Events but I’ll list it here just in case. Is there a way to remove the “End Time” on the Event Listings? It isn’t necessary for our purposes.
If that isn’t possible; is there a way to remove it (the end time) from displaying in the Recurring Events tab on the sidebar? I’d still like to display the recurring events but the way that it is structured is confusing & cluttered (i.e. the attached screenshot) I’d really just like it to show the recurring Date itself not the end date & time.
Thanks for all your help!
December 20, 2016 at 7:04 pm #327923Hi,
1) GeoDirectory out of the box doesn’t have this problem, so it must be caused by the customization. Please ask for support to your developer.
2) I asked to the developers to have a look, however we’ll still need your website’s link and admin credentials
3) https://wpgeodirectory.com/re-order-tabs-in-a-listing-detail-page/
4) it isn’t, I’m sorry, maybe it can be done with css but I’d need to check an actual recurring event, images cannot be inspected.
Let us know,
Thanks

And I wouldn’t even know where to begin with editing that file so I’m assuming it was my developer. But thanks for finding the issue.
December 26, 2016 at 8:07 am #330539I just deleted and reinstalled the entire Events add-on & it still hasn’t fixed the issue.
December 26, 2016 at 9:25 am #330574Hi,
You need to re-save events to create event schedules entries which are empty because of your last changes.I checked with “Demo Event” and it worked for me.
Let us know.
Thanks
