    Hi,
I would like replace categories names, using a custom image, that show in the widget for each places. All I need is remove text, and set a custom id or class, for each < a > category.
    Please see attached images.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I don’t think there is an easy way to do that. Especially adding a class or id to the category links. It would probably require to hack core files.

I’ll ask to the developers to confirm or if possible to give us an alternativce solution.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I have checked and there is no hooks to add a class to the

    <a>

tag, there are several ways you could achive this though depending on your skill level:

#1 Use jQuery to add the classes dynamically
#2 use a filter we have geodir_show_{$html_var} to strip and replace going by the category url and then taggin on a class after.
#2 Use a hook to add your own code from scratch.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi,

The related listings and related events widgets do not change from Grid view when i change the display to list view. I currently have it set in the sidebar of a page. Is this a limitation of the widget to only display in grid view when used in the sidebar?

    Cheers.

Yes it is, list view is messed up in sidebar. Just set the width to 100% and grid 2 column. it will do a grid with only 1 column.

    Thanks

    Hi Paolo,

I could be doing something wrong but the view width doesn’t change even after I edit the “listing width”. Should I be changing that elsewhere?

    Hi,

this is a bug that I could recreate in our tests.

I’ve asked to the developers to fix it asap. We’ll keep you posted.

    Thanks for spotting this.
