    Hi,

Thanks for your feedback and help – we have now updated location manager etc and all versions of add-ons are up to date.

We now have an SSL certificate so the site can be reached using https://dinnerdata.co.uk/. We have deactivated the Geodirectoryx Force Update plugin as you suggested.

One remaining question I think – it seems if you use “near me” that it searches all places and returns results that way. Is there a way of refining that search so if a user was searching “restaurants” and then wanted to find just the nearest restaurants using near me it can filter the results?

Thanks again – a great product set

    M

You need to activate the Advanced Search addon for Near Me to work.

We also just did the update and it responded with a fatal error (white screen on front-end and admin). Was not JetPack, as I can disable GeoDirectory (all) and it comes back. Tried removing JetPack and leaving GeoDirectory installed and still fatal error. Also removed each of the plugins one-by-one, trying with GeoDirectory, but still does not resolve the issue.

Do you know what might be causing the failure?

    WordPress: Current (4.5.2)
    Theme: Enfold (Current – 3.5.4)
    Plugins:
    Awesome Weather
    Disable Comments
    Easy Content Types
    Events Calendar Pro
    JetPack
    Typekit for WordPress

    Disabled Plugins at the moment:
    Akismet
    GeoDirectory 1.6
    GeoDirectory Custom Posts
    GeoDirectory Location Manager
    GeoDirectory Advanced Search Filters
    WordFence

1st of all we just released 1.6.1, second we should see an error log. If there is a white screen there must be a fatal error. I would suspect a missing php module.

    Let us know,

    Thanks

Thank you for a quick response. I have not seen 1.6.1 available quite yet in updates, but I will keep checking. If not, I will download and install manually.
