    Hi there,
I am using this plugin for managing events and as we know events end on a particular date of time. To manage this I have added 2 custom fields through ACF plugin and showing posts which are expired according to current time in archive. Now what happens, as the post is there in as publish it will be populated on the map. And this is my problem.

I need to code in a way so it will remove that pin from the map if my custom date is expired.

I need you to provide me file-name / location for this thing.

    Hi,

1st GeoDirectory is not compatible with ACF. We use custom database tables and that plugin is unaware of it.

2nd we have an event add-on to create those kind of listings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/events/

    Thanks

    Hey Paolo,
thanks for your reply, I know GeoDirectory is not supporting such things.

I need to know the file from where you take all posts from your CPT and put them on the map. Once I know the file name and location I will manage the coding part. And will you please let me know a way to over-ride that file in child theme or functins.php.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Till,

This is where all the data in map are generated.

    /wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/map-functions/get_markers.php

    Thanks

Hey Giri, thanks for the reply.

What do I need to do if I want to make changes with this file ?
I mean, will you please let me know the way to over-ride this file in child theme ?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Till,

Paolo already explained clearly that GD is not compatible with ACF. So there is nothing i can do with coding part.

Once I know the file name and location I will manage the coding part

Thats why i have given you the file path details.

Trust us. As paolo mentioned, we use custom database tables to store custom fields. So its not possible to make GD compatible with ACF, unless you hire a good wordpress developer.

    Sorry about that.

    Thanks
