Remove sections from Add Listing page

    I am looking to remove the Business Owner/Associate and the Tags section from the Add Listing Page.

    I have created a child theme and believe I need to copy a file from the geodirectory-templates but have not been able to locate which file.

    I have read this document – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-geodirectory-templates/
    and beleive this is the file I need to modify but can’t locate it – https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/codex/geodirectory-lists_files/add-list-php/

    Can you please provide some guidance

    Hi,

    that is a mandatory field added by the claim listing add-on. If you don’t need it, just disable the add-on?

    To remove the tags, add this to your CSS:

    #geodir_post_tags_row {display:none}

    I also want people to be able to claim a listing I have added so I do need the claim listing addon.

    While the CSS will work for the tags, I cannot simply hide the mandatory field so I am still looking for a way to remove this please

    You claim a listing by saying that you are the owner or associate.
    Users cannot claim a listing without it …

    I think you are misunderstanding the original question.
    When a user clicks Add Listing – http://directory.healingsouls.com.au/add-listing/
    I do not need them to answer the the owner question – I want to minimise the amount they need to answer.

    This has nothing to do with the claim listing stage where they are claiming a listing I have added

    Sorry, there is no option to do that. This is considered a customization.
