Hi everyone, I would like to remove the small icon on the sidebar (see picture 2) on the listing page while keeping it in the search result page (picture 1). See the pictures attached.

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Gaetano,

Thanks for your post. To achieve this, edit the “GD Archieve Item” page template as explained here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive-item/ and remove the “gd_post_images” shortcode. Let us know if it works.

I am sorry Kor but I am unable to perform what you say. It appears that in my pages there is not a GD archive page…

Then you can create it, as described in the doc.

Also, you can try editing the custom field for ‘logo’ and edit the setting for “Show in what location” and remove detail page sidebar.

Is it imperative to have installed V2 in order to create/work on this GD archive page?

    Hi Gaetano,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we are referring GDv2. Do you mean you’re still using GDv1?

    Thanks!

Yes, I do. Would it possible to find a temporary solution for my issue before moving to V2?
    Thanks

    Hi Gaetano,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, we can use custom CSS code to remove the image. Could you share your Website URL here so that I could provide you the custom CSS code to hide it?

    Hi Kor,
it seems that the CSS you provided did the exact opposite of what I was asking for.
It removed the image in the search results (see picture 1) and kept it in its icon version in the item dedicated page (see picture 2).
What I would like to get is the exact opposite.
    Thanks for your patience!
