April 23, 2014 at 9:06 pm #684dont need to be ASAP, im just working on a new config for the site, it will take a while to update.
have a few other questions, gonna post them here, but i can post it on another post if you will, they are.
have a few questions:
1- what about translations? How do we do this now, or wont be necessary coz all words are customizeble?
2- how to put the search bar in top of the menu, as is on geotheme?
3- what kind of theme you recommend for the site look somewhat to GeoTheme child theme that looks like geoplaces?
thanks a lot, and hope to contribute back to you guys somehow!!
April 23, 2014 at 9:08 pm #685and a thing that really bothered me with the mobile version of the theme, was that the places informations wasnt just after the photos and description, the sidebar came first. some clients complained abouth this. if you can change it and put all business aspects of the page together, would be really great!! =)
April 23, 2014 at 9:11 pm #6861. You can use WPML if you want multiple languages, or if you just require one then you can use the standard WordPress way or .po files, i will create and englsih one that can be translated and include it in the next theme.
2. This is theme dependent, you would need a widget area there.
3. We will be building our own themes very soon 🙂
Thanks,
Stiofan
April 23, 2014 at 9:23 pm #689About own themes… what means “very soon”? Days, weeks, months…?
April 23, 2014 at 9:24 pm #690I’m glad you’ll be offering GD themes soon. Thank you, Stiofan.
Do you think we should try using http://www.apppresser.com now or just wait for the GD app? Do you have an ETA?
April 23, 2014 at 9:29 pm #692@amolin it should be not much more than a week.
@manliboy try what you want, our apps are about 75% done, should be about another 4 weeks or so.
Thanks,
Stiofan
April 23, 2014 at 9:31 pm #693Awesome! I will wait for your apps then. Thank you for the info.
