August 14, 2014 at 11:11 am #12013Hi, how to restore Location page? Tried editing with Avia Framework (enfold), and now no longer works. Other pages (addnon-virtual) can be changed? I believe that use of shortcode is much easier for GD pages… thanks August 14, 2014 at 12:21 pm #12027August 14, 2014 at 12:56 pm #12038Thanks but first I have to delete them all? August 14, 2014 at 1:12 pm #12042No, there is no need for that, the script will restore all of them. August 14, 2014 at 1:59 pm #12055Hi Guust, I tried but does not work. Pages are the same and Location does not work. (http://www.sfogliacitta.it/location/)
However, Location page is NOT in virtual section, is correct?I read in the doc: When you install the plugin GD, 4 virtual pages will be created: All Listings, Listing Preview, Listing Success and Location. Instead I get: 4 pages, 1 in Italian and 3 in English (po file?) in Virtual, and Location page, it is in normal pages section:
so in total there are 5 see images:NOTE: All pages have been created YESTERDAY (you see the date), with a new installation of GD with this configuration. No page has been moved. I have a bit of confusion, what do I do? thanks August 14, 2014 at 2:51 pm #12066we would need wp admin credentials to have a look if you don’t mind. Thx August 14, 2014 at 3:19 pm #12069This reply has been marked as private.August 14, 2014 at 6:48 pm #12087hi, I deleted the faulty location page than followed instruction provided by guust here:http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/how-to-restore-virtual-gd-pages/ Location page is back again and working. Let me know if we can assist further. Thx August 14, 2014 at 7:06 pm #120881000 thanks Paolo, but why one page is in Italian? August 14, 2014 at 7:18 pm #12090You probably changed the title? August 14, 2014 at 8:59 pm #12098No Paolo, pages it’s done so when activated GD. The only thing I did before activation, is to translate some string in file.po in content/language/geodirectory Did you delete the virtual pages before re-creating? Why I am not successful? I followed instructions in the docs, it is not difficult and I want to do this, if it happens another time. anyway, thanks again for help August 14, 2014 at 9:20 pm #12100I just deleted the location page, than followed info on the doc. Add that code to child theme functions.php before the ending ?> Save, go to pages and virtual pages were 5 again. If you translated in the po file Add listing, yes that would be the reason… Thx August 14, 2014 at 10:02 pm #12103So when other strings translated, I will have title of all virtual pages in Italian? Another thing, If I set GD as homepage, Location remain in the page title. this is not very good for SEO. “Location – Sfoglia Città – Homepage“ August 14, 2014 at 10:41 pm #12107Actually I think I said something stupid, string in po file can’t change a page’s name. I’m 100% sure though that GD is not able to add a page in Italian. Someone must have changed the page name. THx August 15, 2014 at 11:54 am #12143In fact, I redid the installation and now pages are correct.
 thanks again
