I’ve been playing around with this for a new site, getting ready to abandon another directory theme for this…really impressed so far.

Because this is a new site, I’m also swapping out design themes to determine what to use for the base. In doing so, I’ve “lost” the GD homepage. I’ve tried unselecting and reselecting, reconfiguring the WP Settings area, etc.

Is there anyway to reset this, short of uninstalling and reinstalling the GD plugin, or does it have to be rebuilt within the Widgets area, which I wasn’t having much luck with either.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Plz go to Admin > Geodirectory > designs > Home Top Section Settings
Plz tick ‘Set geodirectory home page as your home’

    Thanks

    Vikas,

Thanks, tried that many times, but still didn’t work. I ended up just removing and reinstalling.

I’ve looked more closely at the widgets to see which are placed where in case I change themes again. Not certain, but I think the widgets were getting changed with the theme change. If that is the case, it would be ideal if there was a second option to not only “Set geodirectory” as homepage, but also “Set and restore to default,” but not sure how difficult or whether that is possible.

    Cheers,
    Brian
