Restrict google map autocomplete to one country

Hello guys,

When a user try to add a new listing, the google autocomplete will show addresses all over the world, is there a way to restrict it to only one country ?

For instance, if the user type the letters ‘street’ , i need he autocomplete only to show street in UK and not US.

That would be great if you could help

Hi Walid,

i have set this up so it will follow the countries defined by the location manger, if its limited to the default country only then so will the autocomplete, if its limited to 5 countries or less then it will be limited to those too, but not more than 5 as this is a restriction by Google.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

Actually, Im not sure I understand what you are saying. In fact, my location manager plugin is only set to one country ( default ), but then, when a user try to add a new listing, the autocomplete from google map will show adresses from different countries.

Maybe I can give you my credentials so you can have a look.

Yes, this is what i mean, at the moment it does not limit it to the default country, but my change will, if you provide wp-admin details i will apply the patch to your site.
