Guys,
sorry for keeping you busy. I keep having issues with several strange things:
I’ll send an inlog separately.Look at the homepage: https://iamyogi.com
You see: many listings in a nice heat map.If you go to this page:
https://iamyogi.com/leslocaties/
(listing overview of places)
You can search.
Ok, now enter for example Rotterdam in the where-field (plaats?). What happens that i only get 5 listings, while every logical braincell of me tells me that i would have to see many listings…
Even If i add more distance (with VERFIJN SELECTIE)…Guust, because you speak Dutch, it might be a nice one for you;-)
Thanks!

You sure you weren’t locked in a city session before making a search?February 14, 2015 at 12:30 am #308671. I have added the switcher to your menu so you can see if you have navigated to a particular place. Just like Simone, I get 4 pages of results if searching leslocaties in Rotterdam. You might also have been on
2. You should clean up your locations, you have a town and a province that do not exist: All in All?
http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/3. We still need to fix your duplicate country issue. I think that is fixed in the upcoming version, but I’ll check with Stiofan.
February 14, 2015 at 12:20 pm #308941: Apologies…I think I made a mistake myself: The map shows exactly what’s on the page that’s being presented. If an enduser goes to the next listing-results-page the map changes as well. That makes sense, in some way. That was my confusion.
2: This stays like a black box for me. Trust me that I have never added a place called All, nor a province called All…;-). I’ll try again. Thanks!
February 14, 2015 at 1:08 pm #30900Until a few versions ago, you were able to save a listing from the backend without giving it a proper location. Then it used to save as if the listing was in All, All. I cleaned up those two locations for you.
February 14, 2015 at 3:00 pm #30902Guust,
I’m sorry that I keep you busy with this. Look at this(login posted above):first:
https://iamyogi.comThen select in CITY (plaats): Amersfoort.
This is the result…
https://iamyogi.com/plaats/netherlands/utrecht/amersfoort/Why aren’t there results presented? From my perspective it’s just a simple way for a users to narrow his search… But no results..?…
Thanks again!
February 14, 2015 at 10:35 pm #30938You had 2 Amersfoorts in your location list.
Just like you have 6 ‘s Gravenzandes, you need to merge them.
2 Amsterdams etc.
Look at your switcher, there should be no reason to append the provincie to the plaats, unless there is more than one plaats with the same name.February 15, 2015 at 9:18 am #30960Guust,
I’m sorry, but I’m getting really depressed by this. We have only 3 listings in ‘s gravenzande. So how could this lead to 6 places?
I’m going to delete every listing again. Including that place-info.The provincie is something very useful in our opinion, because its for many people a natural way of searching: yoga in Limburg. So I don’t want to skip that information, to be honest.
What is strange is that If you add a listing in the frontend the logic seems to be different. Maybe this is not correct, but my feeling tells me that that’s how another Amersfoort is being generated.
It is really un-understandable how so many places appear…
February 15, 2015 at 10:02 am #30963Wait until the next update, this is a result of the bug I mentioned above, see point 3 at https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/results-on-place-search/#post-30867
This is fixed in the upcoming version, or you can already get the files at https://github.com/GeoDirectory/GeoDirectory if you like [download ZIP].
February 15, 2015 at 4:28 pm #30976Thanks,
I think everything is about normal now. I’ll wait until you release it officially, otherwise I might mess up more than I like.
We’ve opened it to the public now, by the way…;-)
