    I tried loading the sample data and images but it’s not working for whatever reason. Is there a place where I can get the files so that I can add them via ftp?

    You can download them from the https://wpgeo.directory/ demo sites, by right clicking and saving.
    But if you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, we will have a look at your settings if you like.
    There should be no problem at all if you went through https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/
