Hi Kiran,
I checked your screenshots and I also checked on Google.
Indeed if you search “abstract studio site:thebeautyadviser.com” it shows the result with the star reviews just like in your screenshot.
But, in the past 3 years, whenever you serached for “Abstract Studio” without the text “site:thebeautyadviser.com” , it always showed the result just like in your screenshot. Now it doesn’t do it anymore. – see screenshot attacehd “Abstract Studio search”.
This is my issues; because my clients got used to see their profiles in the search results with the star ratings. Now it’s gone.
And I don’t know why this is happening and how to fix it.
November 12, 2019 at 1:45 pm #516763Hi Vlad,
It looks like Google showing results from cached page. Please try this https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/6349986?hl=en

November 14, 2019 at 11:41 am #517119Hi Kiran,
The query “abstract studio site:thebeautyadviser.com” – shows an actual result. This is the actual page. It shows the result as it should also for (see below)
the query “abstract studio”. This query also shows now an actual result of the page, BUT without stars rating.
This happens with all my listings on my website; (abstract studio is only an example).
I don’t see why I should request a removal of any of these pages since there is no outdated content.
November 20, 2019 at 2:03 pm #517929Hi there guys,
just a short follow-up on this thread. Did you find anything new?
PS: I got an email from Google, saying there’s a new owner listed on Search Console “geodirectorytests@gmail.com” – I guessed it’s one of you, so I let things flow.
Please tell me if you found out anything.
All the best,

November 26, 2019 at 7:28 am #518717Hi guys,
short question; this morning a new user with admin rights was created on my site; the email adress is ” 01@linuxmail.org “. Do you recognize this?
just want to be sure it is you; if not to block it.

short followup on my issue here. Did you take a look at YOAST plugin? Ever since their update to version 11 I think, their plugin features a completely rewritten Schema.org implementation.
I dunno, I am thinking about any possible things that might have interfered with your schema that worked great.
December 3, 2019 at 10:07 am #519704Hi Vlad,
We will check YOAST plugin recent version to check how it affected(if) the listing schema. Google taking much time to crawl & re-indexing pages so it takes time longer than expected to check things.
Let us know if you have noticed any change in schema from your side.
Thanks,
KiranDecember 6, 2019 at 12:07 pm #520259Hi Kiran,
Nothing chaged so far. I just checked some listings; the issue persists.
But I got an email yesterday from Search Console that says:
“Some fixes failed for Coverage issues on site https://thebeautyadviser.com/
You requested that Google validate your fix of Coverage issues on site https://thebeautyadviser.com/. The fix requested was for the following issue: ‘Submitted URL has crawl issue’.
However, we found that some pages are still affected by this issue.
To examine full details on the validation progress, and to learn how to fix remaining pages, please follow this link.”
I took a look; none of these affected pages are the ones of my listings.
I continue to believe this entire issue might be related to Yoast’s plugin updates starting with version 11. 1/2 weeks after converting to GD V2, I checked some listings on Google search every day. Everything seemed to work fine. 2 weeks later I think, I updated Yoast to version 11 the one with schema updates. This issue that I have started somehow after this update of Yoast and also after Google’s latest schema update. It might have been a coincidence, or not.
But if it is not a coincidence, and there really is a sort of a conflict between Yoast and GD schema, then every website that uses GD and Yoast together, might encounter this kind of issue in the future.
thanks a lot!
VladDecember 11, 2019 at 11:08 am #520973Hi guys,
short followup on schema issue:
I did some searches today on both Safari & Chrome incognito, on a series of listings from my website. It seems that some of them are back as they used to be with the number of stars & everything – see screenshot 1 – and others are NOT back – screenshot 2.
You can replicate by searching:
A. the ones that are back:
– Abstract Studio
– Tribute Salon
– Boudoir Prive
– Salon Afrodita
– Authentic Studio
– Salon Mona Lisa
– Centro Donna spaB. some that are NOT back:
– dFine Studios
– salon Perla
– Nail Art Exclusive Cluj
– Top Artist salon
– Irenne beauty studioThe list goes on. The ones above are just for you to replicate; you can search these listings and see what I mean.
Any thoughts on this followup?
Thanks a lot,
VladDecember 11, 2019 at 12:20 pm #520983Hi Vlad,
Glad to hear that rating stars are back in Google search results.
I have checked for those listings which are still missing stars in search results. It looks like Google shows rating stars in search results for specific schema types only mentioned at here https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/review-snippet#aggregated_rating_type_definition
The listing uses schema type selected under default category from backend category edit page.
Let us know.
Regards,
Kiran -
